Refund and Returns Policy
At Tarathi Jewels, we take utmost care to ensure that every product is thoroughly inspected and securely packaged prior to dispatch. By placing an order with us, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions governing returns, replacements, and shipping.
1. Delivery and Courier Attempts
1.1 Customers or an authorized representative are advised to remain available at the delivery address specified in the order during the standard courier delivery hours, typically between 9:00 AM IST and 5:00 PM IST.
1.2 In the event of unavailability, the courier service shall make two (2) to three (3) delivery attempts.
1.3 If all delivery attempts fail, the parcel shall be returned to the origin.
1.4 Retention of the parcel for customer pickup at the courier’s local branch may vary based on the courier’s service policy and delivery location.
1.5 Should the parcel be returned due to failed delivery attempts, re-shipping may be arranged upon the customer’s request, subject to payment of re-shipping costs by the customer.
2. Damage Claim Policy
2.1 Claims for damaged products must be initiated within twenty-four (24) hours of receiving the product. Claims submitted after this period will not be accepted under any circumstances.
2.2 All claims must be supported by a continuous 360° unboxing video of the package, starting from the opening of the outer courier package and clearly showing the condition of the product upon unboxing.
2.3 The video must be uninterrupted, with no cuts, edits, or pauses.
2.4 Claims submitted without valid video evidence will be deemed invalid and non-actionable.
2.5 Upon successful verification of the claim, a replacement will be issued for the damaged product.
2.6 In the event that the same product is unavailable, a store credit in the form of a coupon will be issued, equivalent to the value of the purchased product.
2.7 Cash refunds are not provided under any circumstances. All eligible refunds will be issued strictly as store coupons redeemable for future purchases on our website.
3. Return and Exchange Process
3.1 Once a returned product is received and inspected, customers will be notified via email confirming receipt and eligibility for a replacement or store credit.
3.2 Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.
3.3 We currently do not provide return pickup services; all returns must be self-shipped by the customer.
3.4 Products must be dispatched within forty-eight (48) hours of raising a return request.
3.5 Customers are required to use a reliable courier service, such as DTDC, Professional Couriers, or ST Couriers.
3.6 Returned products must be securely packed to avoid loss or damage in transit.
3.7 Upon verification, a replacement will be dispatched to the original shipping address within five (5) business days. Tracking details will be shared via the registered email ID.
4. Non-Returnable and Non-Exchangeable Conditions
The following reasons do not qualify for return, replacement, or store credit:
The jewelry is too heavy, too large, or too small as per personal preference.
The product does not suit the customer or does not meet expectation.
Incorrect bangle or dress size ordered.
A detailed size chart is provided on each product page; customers must ensure accurate measurements before purchase.
Loose push-backs, bent earring stems, or minor issues such as stones or beads that can be fixed with fabric glue are not considered defects.
Some earring stems are intentionally bent to prevent breakage during transit; this does not qualify as damage.
Damage resulting from improper handling post-delivery is not eligible for replacement or return.
5. Packaging and Quality Assurance
5.1 Every product undergoes multiple quality checks prior to dispatch.
5.2 All items are bubble-wrapped and packed in protective boxes to prevent transit damage.
5.3 Customers are required to maintain the integrity of packaging materials during any return or replacement process.
6. International Orders
6.1 We currently ship to over 80 countries worldwide.
6.2 At present, we do not offer an exchange policy for international customers.
6.3 In case of an issue, international customers must provide a 360° unboxing video and may be required to self-ship the product back to us.
6.4 Alternative resolutions or store credits may be offered at the sole discretion of Tarathi Jewels.
7. Shipping Costs for Returns
7.1 Customers shall bear all shipping costs related to returning or re-shipping products, unless explicitly stated otherwise by Tarathi Jewels.
7.2 For self-shipped returns, only the value of the purchased product (in the form of a store coupon) will be issued after verification.
7.3 Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
8. General Provisions
8.1 Orders once placed cannot be canceled or exchanged for a different product.
8.2 All decisions regarding replacement or store credit shall be made at the sole discretion of Tarathi Jewels, following verification.
8.3 This policy is subject to amendment without prior notice.
